What sizes do the Mail-In Take Back sharps containers come in?

We have sharps containers in a variety of sizes ranging from 1.4 quarts all the way up to 28 gallons. For specific information take a look at our product store.

Which sharps containers can be mailed back, and which ones have to be placed in larger containers?

Some of our sharp’s containers can be mailed back themselves, some have to be mailed back in a larger container, and some can be mailed either as themselves or in a larger container, and some yet must have smaller containers holding the sharps within them.

  • The 1.4 qt containers can ship themselves, or in a larger container.
  • The 5.4 qt containers must ship within a larger container.
  • The 2-gal containers must ship within a larger container.
  • The 5-gal containers must have a smaller container holding the sharps, cannot ship with loose sharps, and do not belong in a larger container.
  • The 18-gal containers must have a smaller container holding the sharps, cannot ship with loose sharps, and do not belong in a larger container.
