ARXG® is committed to protecting our environment from the effects of improperly disposed of pharmaceuticals and sharps. Pathogens and chemicals from medications can leach into our waterways and water supply, threatening marine life and our access to safe drinking water.
We take our commitment to the environment a step further by partnering with one of the largest Waste-to-Energy (WtE) facilities, minimizing any impact these items have on the environment.
GHG Emission Reduction
For every ton of waste that is processed at the EfW facility instead of taken to a landfill, nearly one ton of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are avoided.
Green Energy Generation
The heat that is generated from the incineration process is then either used to heat buildings or converted into electricity for homes and businesses to use.
Conserve To Serve
After the waste is incinerated, only ash and metals remain. The metals are recovered, sorted and recycled into new products.
